September 1, 2025 webinar of the jubilee pilgrimage On "repentance and conversion Into dante's Purgatory"

Monday 1 september at 9.00 Pm (CEST) see you online for the third and last webinar of preparation for Jubilee Pilgrimage de "La Tenda di Gionata and other associations". This time our "Virgil" Will be professor Antonio De Caro*, who will guide us on a journey through the verses of the Purgatory by Dante, with the reflection entitled: "Seniority, conversion and purification in Dante's Purgatory".
Forget Purgatory as a place of punishment: here you go up, step by step, towards light. It is a path of transformation and hope, where you support each other. As Dante writes, "Freedom is looking for, which is yes dear" (Purg. I, 71): and we pilgrims seek it together, between faith, fatigue and desire for rebirth.
An opportunity to find out how Dante's poetic language illuminates the meaning of our walking towards Rome and crossing the Holy Door: not only a ritual, but a concrete step of conversion and renewal. And if for Dante the journey started "in the middle of the walk of our life", For us it will begin in front of a screen ... and will culminate, God wanting, under the sky of St. Peter.
The webinar will be available in Italian and English. To receive the participation link write to tendadigionata@gmail.com

Climbing Together: Dante, Purgatory, and the Pilgrimage of the Heart
On Mondoy, September 1 at 9:00 pM (CEST) join uS online for the third official preparatory webinar for the Jubilee Pilgrimage of "La Tenda di Gionata and other associations."
This time, our own "Virgil" will be Professor Antonio De Caro, who will guide uS through the verses of Dante's Purgatory with his reflection: "Repentance, Conversion, and Purification in Dante's Purgatory."
Forget the idea of Purgatory as a place of punishment: here, one climbs step by step towards the light. It is a path of transformation and hope, where we support one another along the way. AS Dante writes, "Freedom he goes seeking, which is so dear" (Purg. I, 71): and we, as pilgrims, seek it together - with faith, effort, and a desire for renewal.
It will be a chance to discovery how Dante's poetic language can illuminate the meaning of our journey to Rome and of crossing the Holy Door: Not Just in Ritual, but a concrete step of conversion and renewal. And If Dante's Journey Began "In The Middle of the Journey of Our Life," Ours Will Begin in Front of Screen ... and, God Willing, culminated in Beneath the Sky of St. Peter's.
The webinar will be available in Italian and English. To receive the participation link, email tendadigionata@gmail.com
