31 January/1 February 2025 in Trieste conference “Minors of all kinds. Identity, choices, self-determination, ethics”

In Trieste on 31 January and 1 February 2025 in the “Rita Levi Montalcini” Aula Magna of the Cattinara Hospital,
in person and remotely, you can participate in the second Trieste day of bioethics and pediatrics on:
“Minors of all kinds. Identity, choices, self-determination, ethics”.
Gender dysphoria is a reality that involves a limited sector of young people's lives, but which has decisive consequences for the equality and happiness of people, that is, the level of civilization inherent in a society. For this reason, regardless of their number or the possible economic impact involved, these situations are worthy of great attention and in dealing with them the psycho-socio-health professionals follow the guiding principles of reducing the degree of suffering of those directly involved and making them new individualities with full rights in the minor's spaces, respecting equality - essential for achieving a better quality of life and a higher level of civilization.
Organized by the Bioethics Onlus Consultation, in collaboration with the Pediatric Clinic for Gender Variance (APEVAGE) of the IRCCS “Burlo Garofolo” Institute for Children in Trieste, the conference aims to explore the issues of gender dysphoria in depth in the minor person with an approach attentive to ethical pluralism, concrete awareness and the complexity of situations, focusing on what is happening in Italy with an open look at what is happening and progressing in other Villages.
For in-person or online registration: segreteria@consultadibioetica.org
