8 May/3 July 2026 with “Called by Name” online meetings for LGBTQ+ Christians and their families
In recent years, in Italy and beyond, priests, nuns and pastoral workers have walked alongside LGBTQ+ people and their families. A journey made of listening, prayer and spiritual accompaniment... sometimes marked by wounds, other times crossed by signs of hope.
From this path the "Called by Name" project was born: some online events in which nuns and priests, starting from their pastoral experience, share what they have seen and experienced.
“Called by Name” is an online space born from real experiences of the Church, a place where different voices can speak with freedom and responsibility. It is precisely this freedom that makes meetings alive, and that over time builds a shared history.
They are stories and reflections in the light of the Gospel, spaces for dialogue. Simple, but necessary moments... to stop, listen, let yourself be questioned. To remind us that, one at a time, we are all people "called by name".
