Acilia (Rome), two girls kiss on the street, but are insulted by a carabiniere

I scold and insulted by a carabiniere, just because they would exchange a kiss. It happened in Rome, last December 19, near the Acilia station (along the Roma-Lido railway). The fact is reported by the 'Gay Project association, to which Giordana, a 22 -year -old Roman working student immediately turned.

The girl, who lives in Acilia, had greeted her friend with a kiss on the lips, in one area, among other things, visible from the surveillance cameras. The 11pm had just passed. "A kiss in the mold - Giordana at the Huffington Post - a very quiet thing" says ". The scene was noticed by a carabiniere on duty inside the station.
"He started screaming against us. Homophobic things like 'Schifo' and 'do these things hidden'. He was together with three soldiers on duty, and a security guard".

Il carabiniere (in divisa), a quel punto, si è avvicinato alle ragazze, che hanno subito chiesto conto di quel comportamento omofobo. Lui ha reagito esigendo i loro documenti e ordinando loro di non allontanarsi da lì.
“Una volta presi i nostri documenti è tornato dagli altri tre militari e ci ha fatte aspettare per venti minuti – continua Giordana – Quando è tornato ha anche detto ‘Ora so chi siete, so dove abitate, andatevene”.

Giordana ha subito deciso di rivolgersi alla caserma di Acilia, per denunciare l’accaduto. Al citofono (la stazione era, infatti, chiusa) le hanno risposto che non erano tenuti a comunicarle le generalità del carabiniere in servizio.
“Così ho deciso di andare in un commissariato a raccontare tutto – spiega Giordana – La polizia mi ha parlato del reato di abuso di ufficio, ma è chiaro che ora toccherà alla Procura decidere come procedere”.

“Sarebbe tempo – prosegue Imma Battaglia – di porre fine per sempre a queste vicende lesive della dignità e della libertà delle persone: non solo offendono i gay, le donne e tutti i cittadini.
La grave ignoranza omofobica di un solo agente rischia di screditare l’immagine di tanti colleghi impegnati ogni giorno nella pubblica sicurezza”.
