Out of the closet in English it literally means being out of the closet. Generally this phrase is used to indicate the people who have chosen to make coming out and, consequently, to freely live their sexual orientation and gender identity.
The pages that will follow chase the dream of giving testimony of a love that exceeds any sexual orientation. A pen, with the words that manages to give black on white, has the power to give life to a cathartic liberation process that has a double value because, if on the one hand makes us free to express our sexuality and the whole world related to it, on the other it seems to inspire us to talk about a love that exceeds us infinitely and that, in some way, questions us. He asks us to speak and professed lovers, in this long path of dialogue with the Church and society.
The Young Christian young LGBT project it represents a starting point for many starting from April 2016. This is because it is easy, when you are young, get lost a little and fear of finding yourself in front of a choice that seems impossible: who am I when I look at myself in the mirror? An LGBT person? Or a Christian? How can you choose between your faith and identity?
That's why this project is a starting point. From the encounter with the other and its history it will be discovered that love is said to be in many ways and in reality it is expressed in the eyes of brothers and sisters who finally feel understood and welcomed, in the hugs of the parents who do not deny their children and in the love of God who needs no discrimination.
These pages are excerpts of life lived by those who have decided to get out of their wardrobe. Homosexuals, transsexuals, couples, single, believers and first of all people. These are personal moments, emotions, feelings and fears of those who have tried to get involved because life is something that must be lived in full and for those who really are and we must not survive it.
We hope that these pages, these moments, our moments, can reach those who need it most, and maybe still do not know it, and open streets, where there seems to be only blind ends only; Heal the wounds and make them wounded, passage to continue to be authentically. The secret is to put the nose out of the closet.
