Jesus promises his kingdom to the good thief. In the Via Crucis with Christians LGBT+
Meditation by Maria Teresa del Ford proposed in the Via Crucis "I believe in this love"Held in the church of San Carlo al Lazzaretto in Milan on Friday 11 April 2025
Jesus finds himself crucifix, after suffering physical tortures and humiliations. He has against everyone: the people, the leaders, are delighted by the soldiers and one of the two evildoers who share the same fate. The other evildoer recognizes the innocence of Jesus and proclaims his total trust in him.
In these infamous conditions, an intimate and tender dialogue takes place between Jesus and the evildoer: Jesus is assisted by the evildoer in death and Jesus promises him that he will be with him in paradise that same day.
Until the end Jesus pursued the purpose of his announcement: seeking what was lost.
He shared the canteen of illegal immigrants and evildoers; He welcomed the anonymous sinner, entered the house of a public thief. Now he dies between two criminals and shares the fate of exclusion and infamy.
Jesus tells us that God does not look at the merits, but looks at their needs, not their virtues, but their needs.
Salvation is for all/all those who recognize Jesus as their liberator, nobody is excluded; For all/everyone is hope of the future.
