New Group Proposal of Rome
New proposal is a secular group of Christian homosexual men and women committed to sharing their path of spiritual and human growth in Rome for over fifteen years. New proposal is the place where you can grow together and open new roads for a reconciliation between church and homosexual people.
Our goals
* Search, community and in loyalty to the Gospel, ways through which to live and celebrate homosexual identity and love as gifts of God in the Catholic Church.
* cultivate friendship between us.
* Testure our experience of Christian homosexuals, who commit themselves to building a more welcoming Church and society: living in the light of the Gospel, this is possible!
* Experiment with the wealth of comparison and ecumenical dialogue.
* Make a strong commitment to welcome, solidarity, help to the person, supporting the path of growth of faith and acceptance of one's identity.
* Living sexuality as one of the languages of love: in reciprocity, respect and affection. for Us, believing homosexual men and women, being faithful to the Gospel means being faithful to the bottom of their nature, and therefore also to one's body.
Our path
Our path starts from faith, which must be considered as a goal, not as an acquired data. Our annual program is divided into various times:
* Fifteen-cadence meetings of: Experiential sharing, biblical-supritical insights, comparison on socio-cultural issues, also through expert interventions;
* Spiritual Cohabitations of a day with a monthly basis;
* Two Days Coexistence at the beginning of the year, to start the program with a moment of spirituality and sharing;
* Active participation in moments of aggregation with other homosexual associative realities.
