Matthew 4: 12-25: "When Jesus knew that John had been arrested, he retired to the Galilee, he left Nàzaret and went to live in Cafàrnao [...] Great crowds began to follow him from Galilee, the decàpoli, from Jerusalem, the Judea and the Giordano beyond the Jordan".
The light of the kingdom of God cannot be retained. That light that rebuilt in the darkness, says Giovanni in the prologue, was not won by darkness. And so it happens that, after the martyrdom of the Baptist, the Ministry of Jesus begins.
From the martyrdom of the Baptist, from the testimony of his life given to the truth, another opportunity begins for us; This is the action of God who does not stop before negativity, but transforms them into a further possibility of salvation.
The action of God consists precisely in this: transforming evil in good, our darkness into points of light, our wounds in slit through which to pass his love.
When it seems all lost, it's there that God offers us another opportunity!
