"If you have faith as much as a mustard grain ..." (Luke 17: 1-6)
Biblical reflections by Mauro Leonardi*, priest and writer
After sin, humanity is targeted by the stones of wickedness, evidentity, pride. But a grain of mustard of faith, of entrusting in him and his word is enough to understand the value of forgiveness, faith, love.
From the Gospel according to Luke 17: 1-6
At that time, Jesus said to his disciples:
«It is inevitable that scandals are, but woe to the one because they come. It is better for him that he is put a mill mill in his neck and is thrown into the sea, rather than scandalizing one of these little ones. Be careful to yourself!
If your brother commit a fault, scold it; But if he regrets, forgive him. And if he commits a fault seven times a day against you and seven times he will return to you saying: "I am repentant", you will forgive him ».
The apostles said to the Lord: "Clean faith in us!". The Lord replied: "If you have faith as much as a grain of mustard, you could say to this mulberry:" Sharrhewned and go to plant you in the sea ", and it would obey you".
