In the parish In rimini with catholic parents with lGBTQ+ Children from Famiglie in Cammino
We are Catholic parents with LGBTQ+ children, united on a journey of faith, supported by the Church of Rimini and by priests and deacons who accompany us on our journey.
The group, Families on the Way, offers a community and spiritual experience, in which parents can reflect and dialogue in the light of the Gospel and the teaching of the Church with the aim of creating a "confidential" space for sharing and mutual support.
We meet once a month in the Parish of Regina Pacis in Rimini guided by a priest to tell us and understand what Christ means to us in the event of our children's coming out.
Let us make Pope Francis' words our own: “The Pope loves your children as they are, because they are children of GodOur desire is that no child feels rejected and that everyone finds in the Church a place of love and welcome.
We collaborate with others parent groups and networks of LGBTQ+ Christian believers throughout Italy and in particular with the families on the Way group in Bologna from which we draw inspiration.
