Lesbophobia. When women, and not only them, hate women

The very serious homophobic violence that took place this summer in Rome and not only make me reflect on the masked homophobia of many people.
People who apparently accept gays and lesbians but who actually do not accept them and deeply detest them, attacking them verbally, creating obstacles, trying to discredit them without ever referring to their sentimental orientation.
We tend to see in the lesbians only this reality by obscuring other sides such as the character, interests, the values of that woman.
The word lesbian still has something infamous today for many. It is the legacy of an ancient ignorance that still makes it a taboo word. Many lesbians prefer the most neutral, American and nice gay that creates less problems. Of course, each person is free to self -refine himself or not to self -refine himself.

Elogiata dal poeta Alceo, suo contemporaneo, che la chiamò “dolceridente” e poi da Platone per cui fu la “Decima Musa” iniziò ad essere screditata secoli dopo per i suoi amori femminili. Ancora oggi anche se raramente si usa dire amore saffico.
Molte donne etero manifestano una lesbofobia dichiarata, altre mascherata. Quante madri, sorelle, cugine, false amiche, colleghe di lavoro hanno detto o fatto qualcosa contro le lesbiche?
La psicologia spiega bene l’omofobia. Parte della società ha ancora interiorizzato l’odio per una donna che sfugge al modello secolare di sposa e madre, da loro inteso in senso retrogrado.
Naturalmente la chiesa cattolica con i suoi contorti documenti sull’omosessualità degni del manzoniano Azzeccagarbugli e la morbosa distinzione tra omosessuali non casti (da condannare e redimere) e casti (lodevoli) alimenta l’omofobia che già sussiste in ideologie di destra e nel becero machismo nazionale.
E alimenta la lesbofobia anche se forse il Vaticano teme più l’omosessualità maschile.
Ma se idee di destra sono contro gay e lesbiche perché contro ogni libertà umana anche tra chi si proclama di sinistra si trovano donne pronte a difendere oppressi a patto che stiano dall’altra parte del pianeta e a ignorare i Gaypride ma soprattutto a disprezzare la donna dichiarata o presunta lesbica.
Stereotypes are created that would make a lesbian recognize or vulgar terms are used as a "missed man".
But these women, usually authoritarian and hypocritical characters, torment daughters, sisters, friends, work colleagues and the more a real lesbian will hide the more the persecution will increase, the sentences given behind, the gossip, the acts that want to create difficulties.
On the contrary, more a lesbian will no longer hide respect and silence. Visibility is the best way to be respected.
Of course Visibility does not mean going to 2 am in the worst areas of Rome, Milan and Apoli and get out at risk! But living daily with serenity a variant of the love with which we are born and which is not a shame, nor a virtue but it is love and love if it is true and lived in full respect of the other it is good.
Women who detest lesbians in general create suffering and this is evil. Even the lesbians who have acquired lesbophobia should get rid of this inner enemy to live well and not in turn damage other lesbians in relationships experienced in a disastrous and destructive way.
Love does not destroy but creates.
