The Gospel of Mass today reminds us that the pilgrimage is a school of humility. As long as this term correctly understand: it is not a question of diminishing our existences, or of thinking that we do not value, but of reminding us that we can be fruitful, like the earth, exactly where we are.
There is no need to seek visibility and first places, on the contrary, God manifests themselves even better in those who know how to remain with confidence in their place.

From the Gospel according to Luke 14.1.7-14
It happened that a Saturday Jesus went to the house of one of the heads of the Pharisees for lunch and they were observing him.
He told the guests a parable, noticing how the first places chose: «When you are invited to someone from someone, do not put yourself in first place, because there is no other invited more worthy of you, and the one who invited you and he comes to tell you:" Cèglo his place! On the contrary, when you offer a banquet, it invites poor, cripples, lame, blind; And you will be blessed because they don't have to reciprocate you. In fact, you will receive your reward for the resurrection of the righteous ».
