“Take my yoke upon you…” (Matthew 11:28-30)
Biblical reflections by Mauro Leonardi*, priest and writer
Giving life, knowing that everything we do comes from the Father and that our life is testimony to God's action in our lives, means living like Jesus and also means having everything without being possessed by anything, being free by becoming servants out of love, like Mary.
From the Gospel according to Matthew 11:28-30
At that time, Jesus said:
«Come to me, all you who are tired and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, who am meek and humble of heart, and you will find refreshment for your life. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
