Questo Natale mi metterò a giocare con te
Riflessioni del tempo d’Avvento di Luigi Testa*
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Mt 11.28)
Tired, weighed down, tired. Each of us has our own worries, which perhaps others don't know about; his effort, which others do not see. And that digs into him, that exhausts, that takes away strength, that takes away life. We arrive exhausted.
But a child who knows. A child doesn't understand. He smiles, and wants to play – and that's it. If this Christmas I let go of tiredness and start playing with you, this will be the refreshment for my life. Your smile child, sweet, light, will be my rest.
