“Yes, father, For so you have decided in your kindness” (Matthew 11:25-27)
Biblical reflections by Mauro Leonardi*, priest and writer
A God who became a child to reveal himself, a God who makes his power shine in goodness, reveals himself to the little ones, to the insignificant people for whom loving means giving one's life. Having faith means abandoning yourself, being important means serving your brothers.
From the Gospel according to Matthew 11:25-27
At that time, Jesus said: «I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned and have revealed them to little ones. Yes, O Father, because you have decided so in your benevolence.
Everything has been given to me by my Father; no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."
