September 6, 2025 at the Santa di San Pietro Porta with the jubilee pilgrimage "De La Tenta di Gionata and the other associations"
In September 2025, the LGBT+Christians, their family members and pastoral workers who accompany them will find themselves in Rome, to cross the Holy Door together in the Vatican together because faith is a journey that does not go through alone.
Prayer has a different strength when we are together, when we cross a threshold side by side, responding to the call to walk united.
The path
The Jubilee pilgrimage of “La Tenda di Gionata and other associations"It will be held Saturday 6 September 2025, At 3 pm, and will take us through the Holy Door of the Basilica of San Pietro. With the cross of the Jubilee, we will pass for this door, a symbol of mercy and liberation, living a moment of communion and prayer.
In addition to the pilgrimage, other significant moments will enrich that day.
The arrival on Friday 5 September in Rome of Pilgrimage on foot of the LGBT+ Christians which for eight days will travel the ancient via Francigena. They will start on August 29 from Terracina and along ancient roads and stopping in convents and places of faith will arrive in Rome to join the other jubilant pilgrims to deliver the cross of the pilgrims. We also point out the initiative "Church: a house for everyone ", Promoted by the Jesuits to welcome Christians LGBT+ and their parents, cohabiting and divorced people, pastoral workers and many others who will arrive in Rome in those days, who will have two important moments:
A prayer vigil, Friday 5 September 2025, at 20:00. A moment to be recognized in one's uniqueness and praise together in this jubilee year.
A Eucharistic celebration, Saturday 6 September 2025 - 11:00 am. Chaired by Se Mons. Francesco Savino, who will be an opportunity to renew and testify to the desire to walk with the Church.
Both events will take place at the Church of Jesus In Piazza del Gesù in Rome.

Whoever wishes to take part in this pilgrimage, who feels that this path concerns him, those who want to pray together, have to register online by June 15, 2025.
