"Where there are two or three gathered in my name, I am among them" (Matthew 18: 15-20)
Biblical reflections by Mauro Leonardi*, priest and writer
When we have a problem with a person, first we talk face to face with that person. This thing, so simple, is Gospel. Living like this is to find Christ and bring him between us.
From the Gospel according to Matthew 18: 15-20
At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: "If your brother commit a fault against you, go and warn him between you and he alone; If he listens to you, you will have earned your brother; If he doesn't listen to, take one or two people again, so that everything is resolved on the word of two or three witnesses. If he will not listen to them, tell the community; And if it does not even listen to the community, both for you as the pagan and the public.
In truth I tell you: everything you tie on to earth will be linked to heaven, and everything you dissolve on earth will be dissolved in heaven. In truth I still tell you: if two of you on earth will agree to ask for anything, my Father who is in the skies will give it to him. Because where there are two or three gathered in my name, there I am among them ».
