Lord, be careful my ear (Isaiah 50: 4-9)
Reflections by Don Fabio
"The reason we have two ears and one mouth is that we have to listen more and talk about less." (Cizio's Zenon)
Isaiah 50: 4-9: "Every morning my ear is careful, because I listen to like the disciples."
In these days of Lent, the prophet Isaiah has accompanied us by the hand to Holy Week. Today he gives us this invitation, or rather, reminds us that, before speaking, first of all, it is necessary to open up to listening.
We should remember it a little everyone that, before speaking, before "judging" (if it is really mandatory), before formulating our sentences, It is necessary to listen All the voices, stories, lives lived, the fragility, the difficulties that each/A, in their own life, face!
Continues, the prophet Isaiah, saying "The Lord opened my ear, because I know how to direct, know how to give a word to the disheartened". This is what we should learn to do more and more: open our ear, heart and soul, and listening!
With love, Fabio!
