But @Duemammeetrefigli It is also a social profile, thanks to which Giada and Serena tell each other and tell their daily lives and that of their children. And now it's a book (Never be bored. Two moms for three children, Love Edizioni, 2024).

Two different ways to tell the daily life of a young rainbow family. Let's hear what Giada tells us about it.

Can you tell us some of you?

We are 37 years old and serene of 41, we met 14 years ago and have been together since then. Siamo ufficialmente sposate dal 2020. Sin dai primissimi appuntamenti, Serena mi confessa che il suo desiderio più grande, quello a cui non avrebbe mai rinunciato, era quello di diventare madre. So, after a few months that we went to live together, we started an online search to understand how to do it. Now we have two 11 years old twins and a 5 -year -old girl.

Why did you decide to undertake your social adventure?

Perché avevamo capito quanto fosse utile alle persone sapere e capire. All’inizio condividevamo alcuni momenti sulle nostre pagine Facebook, era un modo per tenere aggiornati i nostri parenti che abitano un pò più lontano e che vediamo di meno. Ma da quando sono nati i gemelli, tantissime coppie sono venute a chiederci informazioni per sapere come fare. Avevamo capito che non eravamo in poche ad avere desiderio di maternità. 

Le pagine social Duemammetrefigli sono nate nel 2020 durante il Covid, un modo per sensibilizzare il pensiero sociale (spesso ignorante solo perché ignora), ma anche per far sentire rappresentate le tante persone della comunità. Spessissimo ci chiedono ad esempio, anche come poter fare coming out. 

Avete un sacco di follower. Come vivete la notorietà? E i bambini?

Non ci sentiamo famose e anche i bambini sono molto tranquilli nel loro quotidiano. Siamo una famiglia come tante, con le difficoltà che ha una qualsiasi famiglia, anche economiche. I bambini spesso si stupiscono quando capita che qualcuno ci riconosce per strada e ci chiede una foto insieme, una cosa alla quale anche noi non abbiamo fatto l’abitudine. 

A proposito dei vostri figli. Siete riuscite entrambe a riconoscere legalmente i gemelli ma non la loro sorellina. Avete intrapreso qualche azione legale in merito?

For the little girl still not. Il riconoscimento dei gemelli l'abbiamo ottenuto in tribunale, sempre nel 2020. Con la sorella dovremmo rifare di nuovo tutto da capo, questa volta chiedendo l'adozione del figlio del partner, unica cosa concessa al momento. It is something that takes away several energies, not only mental. So we haven't felt ready to leave yet.

You also wrote a book ...

Yes, because in so much so they asked us. And then because it was necessary, because we are in a complicated historical period, because it is not fashion, it is not selfishness, but it is life and it is a family.

On social media we bring a message that named "normal". In this book, however, we understand how much the scares company, how much road we still have to do to reach true normality.

E' un libro per chi cerca conforto, per chi cerca un confronto, per chi vuole conoscere una realtà che non gli appartiene, ma che c'è e può essergli molto vicina. With the hope that it moves the minds a little and that it will be supported to those who need it.

Do you feel activists?

Not much, because in reality we follow little politics and we don't chew it enough.

Let me disagree: Giada and Serena are two activists. Because activism is not only done by waving a flag to the Pride or by actually entering more or less politicized. It is also done in everyday life, in hiding and without spectacularity: this is how the clichés and clichés crumble. Being himself, simply. And that's what these two mothers do every day.
