What does it mean to live one's authenticity by re -reading the Bible through a transgender perspective? Will help us answer this question Joy Ladin, American poet and essayist, first person openly transgender to teach in an Orthodox Jewish institution; Author of the autobiography, unpublished in Italy, "The soul of the foreigner: Reading God and the Torah from a transgender perspective (The Soul of the Stranger: Reading God and Torah From A Transgender Perspective) and of several texts in which he explored the relationship between spirituality, gender and marginalization, offering a radical and profoundly human reading of the Torah. A meeting for those who want to deepen the relationship between gender, tradition, inclusion and belonging.
They moderate the meeting Letizia Tomassone and Daniela Di Carlo, shepherd and theologians of the Valdese Church. The webinar will be with simultaneous translation into Italian.
