The last fruits of the Italian Synod Way

The synod of the Italian Church is turning to the end. After the narrative and sapiential phase in which we had the opportunity to make the Italian Catholic Church heard our voice (You can find the documents already emerged on the Progetto Gionata portal), now we are experiencing the prophetic phase, perhaps the most important because it is a matter of "offering possible operational criteria and possible choices to embody the synodal and missionary conversion of the communities".

So the work tool expresses and we do not want to lose this opportunity that leads us firsthand as Christians LGBT+, parents and pastoral workers.

The study of the work tool allowed us to focus on the 5 card "centrality and recognition of each person and pastoral accompaniment".

We have elaborated a contribution that as a tent of Gionata we want to send to the Synod secretariat that arises from the comparison in the board, but also in online meetings with the other groups of LGBT+ reality that have walked with us in the synodal network.

This network that yes will meet in Assisi On 22-23 February next (over 120 person already registered) was one of the most beautiful fruits of the Synod.

About thirty groups and associations, from theologies to us we are church, from women for the church to the basic communities, to make only a few examples, they met, known, compared thanks to the synodal network.

Our instances were welcomed by all and we welcomed them in a true synodal exchange.
