The “ecumenical” vigils of prayer, organized by homosexual christians against homophobia, will take place in parishes too!

From tomorrow (ed. May 12) until Sunday, May 29, many groups of faithful Christians will gather in prayer for “ecumenical” vigils of prayer ‘to remember the victims of homophobia.
Waldensians, Roman Catholics, Vetero-Catholics, Methodists, Baptists and Anglicans will pray together so that the violence on gays and lesbians might finish.
Also the Jesuite Magazine “Popoli” talks about this initiative which is now in its fifth edition: the vigils will take place in 18 italian cities and in eight foreign cities (Spain, Peru’, and Kyrgyzstan) and are organized by homosexual Christian groups with the support of “Gionata.org” (the Italian project on faith and homosexuality) with the support of the European Forum of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Christian Groups.
The several prayers, scheduled on the days before and after the International Day Against Homophobia (May 17th) will be focused on meditations on the New Testament passage:”God has taught us not to call any man pure or impure” (Acts 10 28).
This year the vigils will take place in public in some Roman-Catholic parishes in Milan, Cremona (where last year even the Bishop Dante Lanfranconi attended), Padua, Genoa, Florence and Bologna.
But not in Palermo, where the Archbishop Paolo Romeo, on may 4th ordered the pastor of the parish of Saint Lucia not to host the vigil which is scheduled for tomorrow.
