Corner stones. Voices and faces from the meeting of Florence
What does it mean to welcome every person in our Christian communities, without distinctions? What can we do so that our churches become more and more "inclusion and support sanctuaries" for LGBT+ people and their family members?
In these Short interviews We will listen to those who participated on Saturday 5 April 2025 in the day corner stones, organized by La Tenda di Gionata in a Florentine parish, which brought 128 people from all over Italy to reflect and confront together so that "the stone that the manufacturers have discarded" become "corner head" (Luke 20: 17-18), in dialogue with 8 exceptional speakers:
Letizia Tomassone, Pastara and the Waldensian theologian; Luciano Moia, journalist to come; Don Roberto Massaro, theologian; Father Pino Piva, Jesuit; True gheno, linguist; Elizabeth E. Green, Battista theologian; Don Andrea with the parish priest of Torvaianica (Rome) who deals with trans people; and Don Marco Torre della Diocese of Chiavari, Don Andrea Bigalli of the diocese of Florence, and Don Gabriele Davalli of the diocese of Bologna, representatives of the pastoral care with the LGBT+ people and their family members of their diocese.
Discover their experiences and let yourself be inspired: between tales of faith, community and shared challenges, each voice is a fundamental piece to build together a more inclusive and welcoming church.
