“I am the bread of life” (John 6:44-51)

Every miracle, even those performed by Christ, are limited in space and time: they touched some and excluded others. But when God becomes Man and this Man becomes bread, his breaking is for everyone.
From the Gospel according to John 6:44-51
At that time, Jesus said to the crowds: «No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day. It is written in the prophets: And all will be taught by God. Whoever has heard the Father and has learned from him comes to me. Not that anyone has seen the Father, but only he who is from God has seen the Father. Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate manna in the wilderness and died; This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that whoever eats it will not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats this bread he will live forever and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world."
